Esprit Rêveur, meaning "spirit dreamer," in french - which inspired me to take the journey of self-discovery and creative expression, while encouraging others to do the same.

Raised in the city of Oakland, Ca and inspired to create art by his father and motivated by middle school Art Teacher. Rashad has used his experience as a Navy Veteran, Father and Activist to create art that resonates with him on his mindfulness journey. Rashad Thompson also knowns as Esprit Rêveur stated "I am profoundly inspired by the notion of pursuing one's dreams and passions.  I believe everyone should do what you want, do what you please, do what you love, if you want to be set free." This poetic statement deeply connects Esprit Rêveur to his art as it speaks to the idea that true freedom comes from pursuing what you love, exploring the depths of yourself and your life, and allowing yourself to be fully present in the moment. Through his art, he embodies this. 

Esprit Rêveur is an advocate in using art as a way of expressing this sense of freedom and exploration. "When I create, I tap into a deeper level of myself and my experiences, sharing that essence with others. Whether painting, writing, or sharing my journey as an artist, I strive to capture what it means to be alive and to pursue my dreams. This pursuit of passions and dreams that gives lives meaning and purpose. Through art, we connect with others, explore the world around us, and discover our unique place in the universe."
